Cade McNown is a native of Portland, Oregon. He was born of January 12, 1977 and grew up just like any other ordinary boy. He attended high school at San Benito High school in Hollister, California. However, during his last year, he went to West Linn High School in Oregon. When he was still a student, he was already considered by many as a great athlete. He was part of many varsity teams; however, it was football that he excelled the most. Cade McNown was also a member of the school’s track team. He in fact was able to pull a school record for the pole vault. His agility and strength made him a very suitable player to all types of active sports. He was even one of the reasons why his school team was able to reach the 19994 Oregon 4A semifinals in football. Because of this, he was already closely watched by many football critics and teams from the NFL. His stint and his excellent record has impressed a lot of people from the press and as well as his coaches, colleagues and friends. When Cade McNown entered college, he went back to the state of California in order to attend the University of California Los Angeles or UCLA. When Cade McNown started his football career, he was first drafted by the Chicago Bears. In fact, he was the overall 12th pick during that season of the NFL. This 6’1” player, who weighs approximately 208 pounds, played two seasons for the Bears. However, in 2001, he was transferred to the Miami Dolphins and by the year 2002, he went to San Francisco 49ers. Although he only lasted 4 seasons in the NFL, his tenure in the league has been considered remarkable.
