He was part of many varsity teams; however, it was football that he excelled the most. Cade McNown was also a member of the school’s track team. He in fact was able to pull a school record for the pole vault. His agility and strength made him a very suitable player to all types of active sports. He was even one of the reasons why his school team was able to reach the 19994 Oregon 4A semifinals in football.
