Seven riders headed out to Red Deer for what was the last ride of the year for most of them. The day became eventful right from the beginning. About 5km from the trucks, a seemingly harmless water crossing gobbled up one of the riders. After a couple of hours retrieving the sled the crew pushed on. It was an awesome day, Rob was going big and Eric pushed his XRS for all it was worth on the mountainside. On the way back KR showed up the entire crew by crossing the Red Deer on his ZX like a pro. The same rider then sunk in the same crossing, although not quite as bad this time. All in all a great day. |
